when i close my eyes i can see it
i can see your arms around me
as i lay beside you, head on your chest
hearing your rhythmical heart beat

when i close my eyes i can feel it
feel your breath on my neck
and your lips carress my smile
as your nose softly meets mine

when i close my eyes i can hear it
your amazing laughter and smile
the way you say my name
the words you speak giving me butterflies

when i close my eyes its true
but in reality i am alone
with much too much space beside me
refusing to open my eyes,
staying within the dream,
until you are here with me
