bringing the stills to life

have you ever had that moment where you know you've forgotten something?

you go through a list in your mind, become content, and walk out the door

just as you realise it was your keys...

or, is it just me?

so there i was, sitting in the pouring rain, inches away from my car
sifting through my handbag in desperate hope of these keys appearing

did i mention having no phone credit? because that was a bonus
and so to pass the time (after playing a few rounds of snake on my phone)

i opened my pictures folder and scrolled through
i was taken to the best moments of my existence, relived each smile

and it was then that i realised, if these people were there, it wouldnt matter
if i were locked outside in the pouring rain, for hours upon end

its not what you do, its who you do it with
and they make my world an amazing place to live in
